On Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., the Sioux Falls Health Department and Minnehaha County Emergency Management, in partnership with Avera McKennan and Sanford Health will open an H1N1 vaccination event in Exhibit Hall 2 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Accommodations are in place to line individuals up within the Convention Center. 6,750 doses of H1N1 vaccine are available.
This event is open to all individuals. If you have not already done so, please consider having your child vaccinated.
Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately with easy access to the upper shoulder area to expedite the vaccination process.
To receive an H1N1 vaccination, individuals must fill out a medical consent form. The forms are available on both the City of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County’s websites. www.siouxfallsflu.org; www.minnehahacounty.org
Additional vaccination events will be held as vaccine becomes available.
